Amtek offers a wide range of lighting ballast features to meet the requirements of your application. Many UV / Photographic type applications have unique requirements with regard to lamp starting. This is true of applications in which it is desirable to be able to perform a large number of pre-exposure or exposure cycles without the need for mechanical shutters.
Amtek’s Programmed Lamp Starting feature and Flasher Lamp Starting feature both allow for hundreds of thousands of On/Off lamp cycles without degradation of the lamps.

Amtek’s lighting ballast safety features are designed to protect maintenance personnel from exposure to dangerously high or lethal voltages. Key safety features include electrical isolation from the AC line, open-lamp shutdown, poor electrical connection shutdown, anti-arcing shutdown, and over-temperature shutdown.
